By: Hedy Dunn and Virginia Ebinger, eds.

A collection of the favorite recipes of scientists, artists, politicians, cooks, residents of nearby Indian pueblos, descendants of Spanish homesteaders, people who were in Los Alamos when it was a Ranch School for boys, and participants in the Manhattan Project. Included are recipes from Los Alamos notables like gatekeeper to Los Alamos Dorothy McKibbin, Lois Bradbury, Marge Schreiber, Lois Schulte, Lore Watt, Mary Rosen, Jerry Roensch, and more. The greatest treasure in this book is Edith Warner’s recipe for her famous chocolate cake served at the house at Otowi Bridge.
