"I am pleased that our gift will allow the community and future generations to experience the important history of the place Robert Oppenheimer called home during the Manhattan Project.
Preserving this history for the future is the proper thing to do."

- Helene Suydam

Los Alamos Legacy Society

For nearly half a century, the Los Alamos Historical Society has preserved, promoted, and communicated the remarkable history and inspiring stories of Los Alamos and its people for our community, the global audience, and future generations.

You have an opportunity to help with the long-term sustainability of the Los Alamos Historical Society through an estate gift.  The Society maintains an endowment started by an estate gift from former Laboratory chemist Beth Plassmann,
that provides stable funding for staffing, historic building maintenance, and other programs.
Only income from the endowment is spent; the principle, adjusted each year for inflation, remains intact.

Los Alamos Historical Society provides lifetime recognition to donors who have notified us of a planned gift.
This recognition includes an invitation to annual events available only to members of the Los Alamos Legacy Society.

Los Alamos Historical Society would be pleased to meet with you and your financial advisor to establish a planned gift.
