Anniversary Trail - Inspiration Point

If you want to stand where roads from two eras, Ranch School and Manhattan Project, converge this is your trail!  

The trail ends at Meditation Point, a beautiful spot where one may watch cars snaking up the Main Hill road and view the Rio Grande Rift and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the distance.

Camp Hamilton Trail

This trail is a bit treacherous because it travels along the cliff edge. It is visible from the top of the main hill road, although most people do not notice it. (Don't look for the trail while driving!)

Bayo Canyon Trail – Lujan Road

Some of the most treasured trails in Los Alamos were once part of a network of historic homesteading roads, including this one, the Lujan Road.

Graduation Canyon - Graduation Point

Graduation Point may be reached by taking a short hike from East Park Playlot, but then you would miss beautiful Graduation Canyon!

Camp May

No hiking required! Currently, Camp May is open for "day use only" which makes it a great time to explore! When camping resumes, permits will be available at the Aquatic Center.
