Starting life in 1969 as an outlet for Los Alamos-related stationery and later Historical Society publications, the Museum Shop has evolved into a destination store for material related to the history of Los Alamos and the Manhattan Project. The shop carries a variety of book titles on WW II and the home front, science related toys and games, and gifts for people of all ages. We are in the process of developing our own line of Los Alamos-centric merchandise using photos and other items from our unique museum collection. So check back often to see what's new, both in the store and online.

In October 2008, the Shop received an Extreme Makeover (see pictures below), with new paint, shelving lighting, and a refinished floor. We hope the brighter, more roomy space will help our visitors find just the right gift or souvenir.
