The Los Alamos Historical Society is pleased to unveil our new website. We hope this will be THE online place for visitors to learn about the rich history of Los Alamos, from prehistoric times through the Manhattan Project as well as the current goings on of the Historical Society. In addition, visitors may purchase publications and historic photographs from our secure online shop and take care of such business as buying memberships or contacting the staff. |
We always have new events occurring, so please check back often for changes or for new information.
The wooden "border" around the Home Page page is a picture of a log from Fuller Lodge, the magnificent upright log building that served as a dining hall for the Los Alamos Ranch School and the Manhattan Project. The iron work on the buttons to the left is from a lantern at the Lodge which depicts the logo of the Ranch School.
This site has been made possible through a generous grant from the Atomic Heritage Foundation and free hosting by Ask Me Graphics, a Los Alamos graphics and web hosting company.
